The project’s main aim was the information and experience exchange among start-up centres and the establishment of higher professional standards in supporting innovative start-ups at a European level.
The project was co-ordinated by inno Germany from June 2002 until December 2006. After the end of the financing period, the network continued its activities initially without the support of the EC. The network members desired to carry on the activities of the Incubator Forum. Unfortunately, the strong efforts were not sufficient to continue the Incubator Forum’s activities sustainably on the long term. At the end of the project, the Incubator Forum included 130 members from 28 European countries.
